On December 14th, the China-Oceania and South Pacific Region International Trade Digital Expo, organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and hosted by the CCPIT Information Center, came to a successful conclusion after a 10-day run. Through FastExpo digital platform, the exhibition has provided Chinese and foreign enterprises the opportunities to engage in efficient business communication with potential partners in the form of "cloud display", " cloud promotion" and "cloud matching", promoting economic and trade cooperation between China and Oceania and the South Pacific region.
The expo has attracted 485 exhibitors and over 1,000 buyers, showcasing nearly 10,000 exhibits covering 12 popular industries, including building materials, hardware, machinery and automotive parts, furniture and home decor, office supplies, gifts and consumer electronics, textiles and clothing, sports and outdoor equipment, food and medical devices. Before the opening of the expo, an exhibitor training session was held to provide professional guidance for exhibitors on utilizing the digital exhibition platform to expand their businesses.
Five matchmaking events were held during the exhibition period, with more than 10 exhibitors promoting their products through graphics, videos and sample displays in each event. Professionals from Oceania, including architectural design companies, large-scale supermarkets, trading companies, and brand service providers, engaged in discussions and exchanged business cards with Chinese exhibitors, initiating preliminary cooperation intentions. They also discussed the market trends, purchasing requirements, advantages, and challenges of Chinese products in the Australian and New Zealand markets in the main process.
The FastExpo digital platform also provided supporting services for companies to expand overseas markets. The platform offered global buyer data, market research reports on Oceania and the South Pacific region, and intellectual property legal services, assisting companies in securing orders and expanding the markets.
Up till now, the expo has received praise from both Chinese and international companies. Meanwhile, exhibitors expressed their deep impressions of the expo's excellent services, high-quality exhibits, and diverse range of supporting activities. During the expo, exhibitors not only established new partnerships but also had in-depth conversations with industry experts from Oceania and the South Pacific region, gaining valuable experience in market development and laying a solid foundation for future business cooperation.
